What Is TikTok Business Center?

TikTok Business Center is TikTok’s professional management platform where businesses centralize their marketing operations, ad accounts, creative assets, audiences, and user permissions all in one place. Typically, TikTok Business Center is used in conjunction with TikTok Ads Manager. Ads Manager is where you actually create, optimize, and analyze your advertisement campaigns, while Business Center provides the organizational structure.

Business Center includes Centralized control, where you can organize multiple ad accounts, creator assets (like videos or libraries), and audience lists in one dashboard instead of managing them separately. Team collaboration to assign roles to team members or external partners. Partner management for agencies to be able to manage several client accounts. And finally, Performance insights across accounts to see all ad accounts in one place so you can pull cross-account data for strategic decisions.

How to Create a TikTok Business Center?

Creating your TikTok Business Center is the first step if you want to run paid TikTok Ads campaigns. You can follow this step-by-step guide:

1. Prepare Your TikTok for Business Account

Before you start, ensure you have a TikTok for Business account. If you already use TikTok Ads Manager, you already have a Business account linked. But if you haven’t set one up yet, go to business.tiktok.com and sign in or register using your business email or existing TikTok account to log in.

2. Access the Business Center

Once logged in, find and open TikTok Business Center from the main dashboard or nav menu. This is where you’ll manage all your TikTok business assets. Depending on your account type (advertiser vs. agency), the Business Center interface might show slightly different options, but all accounts follow a similar setup flow.

3. Create Your Business Center

Click “Create New” or “Set up Business Center.” You’ll then complete the following fields:

  • Business name — Should match your legal or brand name.
  • Country/Region — This determines tax, currency, and compliance settings.
  • Business Type — Choose Advertiser if you’re directly running campaigns, or Agency if you’ll manage accounts for clients.

After filling in and confirming the details, submit the form. TikTok may send a verification email to confirm authenticity. Once validated, your Business Center will be active.

4. Add Ad Accounts and Assets

Inside Business Center, navigate to Assets > Advertiser Accounts to link your existing TikTok Ads Manager accounts or create a new one. If you already have an Ads Manager account, enter its account ID. Otherwise, you can set up a new ad account directly from here. Similarly, you can add other assets such as TikTok Pixels, Audiences, and Creative Libraries. These centralized assets can be shared across campaigns and team members.

5. Invite Team Members & Assign Roles

One of the biggest advantages of Business Center is flexible access control. Go to the Users/Team section, then click Invite People. Enter the email address of your team member or partner and assign a role:

  • Admin — Full access, including settings and billing.
  • Operator — Limited to campaign execution.
  • Analyst — Read-only metrics access.

Sending the invitation will trigger an email, and once accepted, the person will appear in your team list with the correct permissions.

6. Link Your TikTok Accounts

To fully integrate your ecosystem, link your organic TikTok account(s) to Business Center. This allows you to run Spark Ads — a format that promotes existing posts as ads — and gives you access to account content directly inside ads workflows.

How to Get Started With TikTok Ads?

TikTok Business Center is more than just a control panel. It’s the foundation for organized, scalable, and secure TikTok marketing. Whether you’re a brand running multiple ad campaigns, an agency managing clients, or a team looking to collaborate without sharing passwords, Business Manager gives you the tools to centralize assets, coordinate teams, and scale with confidence.

For businesses looking to expand their marketing reach beyond channels like Google Ads or Meta Ads, TikTok Ads offers an exciting opportunity to tap into cultural moments, trends, and communities at scale.
